Changheon-yu Taekwondo is the style of Taekwondo created by Choi Hong-hi. It’s commonly known as ITF Taekwondo after the International Taekwon-Do Federation – an organisation that Choi established.
창헌 Changheon was Choi Hong-hi’s pen name, and 유 yu means ‘style’ in martial arts; thus, 창헌유 changheon-yu is a traditional name for Choi’s style of Taekwondo.
Even though this website occupies the domain name www.changheonyu.com, it does not aim to be the ‘official’ website of Changheon-yu Taekwondo. There are many good websites and blogs that cover Changheon-yu Taekwondo – the point of this website is just to direct you to these other resources.
